More than 7 months have gone by since travelers were able to visit Machu Picchu, this week the Ministry of Culture announced, together with local authorities, that this Wonder of the World will open its doors once again.
From November 1st, 2020 people will be able to visit Machu Picchu again, to access the archeological center visitors have to register previously, you can find the link to register here.
The capacity of people allowed to visit Machu Picchu will be reduced to ensure visitors’ safety, also several measures and protocols have been set in place to ensure visitors’ and locals’ safety. For Peruvians, access to Machu Picchu will be free from November 1st to November 15th, 2020 (do not forget to register first).
Finally, we remember our readers that until the 15th of November Peruvian travelers can visit the following sites for free: Sacsayhuaman, Tipon, Chinchero, Moray, Pisaq, Ollantaytambo and Pikillaqta.
